Double Talk is the annual international hip-hop and poetry event in Amsterdam. A cross between spoken word, poetry, and rap as a musical rappoetry and as a literary genre. With countless celebrities and connoisseurs for surprises newcomers to the genre.
On Friday, January 26 The tenth edition in Paradiso place with pure hiphop Boot Camp Clik (USA) with Buckshot, Smiff-N-Wessun, Sean Price, Heltah Skeltah and DJ Logic, true old school Special Ed and the innovative image – sound sensation and Off the Wall (VJ Supreme Cuisine and DJ Mel), Dead Prez and Diggy Dje. There is spoken word and poetry by Patricia Foster and Nick Makoha, both of Malika’s Kitchen (UK), Holland’s poetic reply provided by the poets Maria Barnas and Michael Tedja. And of course rappoetry of Breis (GB) and innovative soul with ominous Poetry of strong Sharrif Simmons (USA).
