Brothatalk/Sistaspeak – Celebrating Poetry in Black History

At the Albany, Apples and Snakes presents Brothatalk-Sistaspeak A diverse line-up of poets from across the country gather to celebrate Black History Month. London writers’ collective Malika’s Kitchen host the evening, which features the talents of Tonya Bolton, Talking Tekla the Narrata, Sheree Mack, Abi Idowu and Native.

X marks the spot, and the spot is Deptford: a diverse line-up of poets from across the country converge on SE8 to celebrate Black History Month. Join the well-known writers’ collective Malika’s Kitchen as they serve up the cream of the UK poetry scene.
