The Complete Works 2- A national development programme for advanced Black and Asian poets. In partnership with Spread the Word are looking out for London’s writers. And generously funded by Arts Council England. This programme is a touchstone and has helped me in leaps and bounds. As an alumni I am asking for your help to spread the word.

The Complete Works II welcomes applications from poets of all ages and are particularly keen for young poets (defined as age 21-30) to apply. There are ten places on the scheme. Interviews will be held in January 2013 and you will need to be available from February 2013 to March 2014 as well as taking part in a showcase in September 2014.

The Complete Works II is highly subsidized, but there is a fee of £750.00 which is payable over two years of the programme. To apply, send 5 copies of fifteen poems along with a covering letter outlining why you would like to join the programme. Your letter should state how you might benefit from it at this particular stage in your writing career and the contribution you can make. Your poems should be typed (12 point) and single-spaced.
